Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a cozy garden terrace for our dog and serves lovely coffee, but the room views are limited to other properties. The staff, especially the Restaurant Manager and Night Porter, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is very close to Poole harbor and the interesting Quay area, providing a quiet retreat yet convenient access to nearby attractions. The dining experience had some letdowns with overcooked scrambled eggs, but fresh unlimited pancakes were a hit.
I couldn't have asked for a more delightful stay. The hotel's location is superb, very close to Poole harbour and set in the historic Poole Quay area, making it an excellent choice. The rooms were cozy and offered beautiful views, and the service from the hotel staff was exceptional. Although the dining experience fell short with overcooked scrambled eggs, the overall experience was still fantastic.
The hotel offers rooms with private gardens, large comfortable beds, and enormous showers. The view from the room overlooks a public car park. The service provided is top-notch, with staff making extraordinary efforts to ensure a homey atmosphere. The location is perfect, situated in the interesting Quay area near historic Poole. However, the dining experience was a letdown with overcooked scrambled eggs and greasy sourdough. Overall, a great stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel is situated directly off the Quay in the old town, offering a pleasant location close to all the tourist attractions in historic Poole. The rooms come with an excellent disabled shower but lack sufficient electric lighting, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The service from the hotel staff is exceptional, especially from the Restaurant Manager and the cheery Night Porter. The dining experience, although included, was a letdown with overcooked scrambled eggs and greasy sourdough. Overall, a brilliant hotel with some areas for improvement.
